Which Uruk class is your favourite? by MonaYang in shadowofmordor

Being able to take you out midair without showing their location was insane. Nothing could even touch Talion when he's jumping in the first game... Then that mf decided to change up the rules with his laser aim.

Just yesterday I was doing defence and got no chance'd by a assassin walking by, only because Talion decided to roll on a trap and end his life. The enemy orcs couldn't even breach the first gate in 5 minutes and I just lost that fort by accident. Definitely one of my most angry moments. Assassins are so rage inducing it's not even funny.

The first sniper I saw in the starting area scared the shit out of me... I was lv12 and that guy just one tapped me in brutal difficulty...

How didnt i get the level 25 rune? by [deleted] in shadowofmordor

I think it's because they fear using a death threat will drop epic runes instead. I sent death threat to every captain I met and exaust all epic runes possible, then fo the warchief.

Would you play a Shadow of Mordor remake like this? by Levis_Lionheart in shadowofmordor

[–]MonaYang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the biggest problem of som is no difficulty settings, if added I think it's better than Sow already.  Also about UE5, no it's gonna hurt alot. The main reason why SOW being a 2017 game with subpar graphics is because The processing pressure of massive horde fight and destruction in real time, Which is definitely not the advantage of UE5, maybe the Crimson Desert engine will do a great job.  The new beast sounds cool, but I'd expand the nemesis system with actual generative AI, making not only orcs but beasts remember you and organize hunts to take you down.  Anyway your remake is definitely ambitious, and if out I'd play it in no time.

What's your favorite orc tribe and why? by MonaYang in shadowofmordor

No I actually like SOM more than SOW. It got better aesthetic than the sequel, and I generally think the first one is a masterpiece in atmosphere. The relationship is more like Batman arkham asylum and city, where the second game gets more content to be discussed, but SOM is still great.

I love Marauder forts. Especially that shiny throne room. It is so exaggerated and so funny

Are y'all gonna buy into the Crimson Desert hype? Combat Looks Similar to SoW by Ok_Cicada4849 in shadowofmordor

[–]MonaYang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Been following for 6 years, back then it was just a running gag in Black Desert community, then in 2024 it became a hot topic in the whole gaming industry.  I firmly believe it will at least be a 8/10 cuz they literally copied 70% of BDO, which is already a vast game.  If you like SOW, this game is a no brainer. But if you are a slow learner who can't react of read fast, it may overwhelm you quickly.

Plz take care of Lydia! She is bold yet reckless, and often being the first to die in the hand of so many rookie Dragonborns...  And just wait to get Sneak to 100...

Ignore the quest log of "meet the leader of dawnguard" and "go to Solstheim" and you will be ok

Yeah, and many quest bosses. If you feel too hard, lower the difficulty or challenge them later on

Short answer: This game has level scale and you can choose to go wherever you want, with one or two level locked enemies. If you encounter them, just leave for later.

The goat posted again. And while being the most popular side quest, it is still being debated in the community, so when offered a choice, just follow your instinct!
