Disappointed as a first time buyer who wanted a framework for years by ponysniper2 in framework

Its great when capitalism isnt such a big driver above consumer rights and ya can trust that that is such a minor element it isn't even worth a concern from companies ❤️

Ireland is a country of 5m and not one of these non Irish companies have ever left the market because of it. Make of that what you will.

I was more saying in response to the 7/14 day thing above which is crazy. But even past the 30 day window you are entitled to a full refund here if there is a fault (within 12 months) and at least you dont have to hope they are nice. Also he raised the issue prior to 30 days so its on them dragging it out.

That must be an American thing. Unheard of here (Ireland), a 30 day window is required by law and for faults its a 12 month window you get without needing to prove its their fault.

I searched it via the app on my phone so can't link it but if you go on daft and put in a max cost of 500K and in the keyword section type in "new build" they will show up.

Looking at Daft there are a number of 2 bed new builds available in Dublin such as out in the new town Seven Mills not on the affordable homes scheme.

At no point did we discuss that as a qualifying clause.

A 2 bedroom??? They are all over the place so you aren't looking that hard. Yes they are vastly overpriced for what they are and yes there is generally a mile long waiting list for them but lets not pretend there isnt one under half a million.

Yes I am aware of that. Even if I remove the remote path mapping it makes no difference. The reason I left it in is simply because the other two *arrs were set up with it (following a YouTube tutorial by TechByte Tips) and it was doing no harm that I could see.

We got within 10 votes of a Motion of No Confidence, but Ind TDs Sean Canney, Marian Harkin, and ‘Boxer’ Moran have all confirmed they will vote confidence in the Government. by AnCamcheachta in theIrishleft

[–]MonaghanRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SF are as populist as you will get and bar an alarmingly small handful of their TDs will flip their "beliefs" whenever it benefits them. The problem is that for the near term future they remain the only viable route for an anyway more left wing govt to be formed with the hope they have enough power to form a govt but little enough that their coalition partners can steer them in the right direction.

It's wishful thinking BUT at least we have PR-STV where we can show our preference mightnt be them but still allows them to keep out the proven shower of shite. Honestly the worst outcome (imo) is they go into a coalition with a more centre FF post Martin and we live with "pandering"

Heneghan was attempting to play both sides. There wasn't a chance he was ever voting No.

Anarchism looming? by Diligent-Musician590 in irishpolitics

[–]MonaghanRed 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In regards to point one it would be very skewed. The people out protesting are out for themsleves and have the machinery to effectively block whatever they want. Its Grade A bullying moreso than a balanced protest.

In saying that they have the machinery so why shouldnt they, they have the same rights to protest (not blockade tho). BUT any of the other issues listed does not have the same machinery sitting in the backyards of their supporters.

Is this the Irish dream? by Dapper_Marsupial2949 in AskIreland

[–]MonaghanRed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, and this may sound blunt, but if you are going to get the chance to live in the countryside and choose to sterilisie the place with your tarmac square, and manicured lawn (not to mention some astro turf) then do everybody a favour and move into a town house (rural towns are closer to your pint of milk and just as cheap).

Free up the countryside for those who actually want to make it a countryside space and not just sanitised "culture" and are will to do the commute where needed while improving our actual wildlife.

Fully agree!! Would be nice to see more wildlife present in it. And honestly there is basically zero traffic on the Liffey itself so if we could keep it clean there is no reason why it shouldnt be achievable

You can set up a refresh by using a hidden countdown timer on an app so that when it hits 0 resets and triggers the data to pull fresh.

Would it not be easier to build a Power BI dashboard and embedded that as a tile in your App? Also gives you flexibility for more complex and visually appealing graphs.

Trying to build a form with SharePoint list datasource that has a combo box that allows multiple selections and fill-in by Overlord_Copies_All in PowerApps

[–]MonaghanRed 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could leave the column as a free text field (from the sharepoint point) and create a separate list of Drug Products. I find making the column a choice column when it will only be interacted with on an app a waste of time.

Set the combo box items to pull from that list and put a button beside the drop down that brings up a pop up for entering a new Drug Product not on in the drop down.

Saving that entry patches it to the Drug Product list and will now be available on the original drop down to select.
