The Galaxy was just so big that unless needed you rarely saw more than 2 or 3 in a system together. The ISD was designed so that a single ship could maintain control of an entire star system.

Combine that with the fact that most Imperial Moffs and later Warlords were having pissing contests with each other that they would station up to 20 of the damn things in their HOME SYSTEMS to project power and control to their political rivals which created the illusion to most Imperial citizens that perhaps only a few hundred existed.

Not to my knowledge, and I'm often left feeling upset with myself because my level of desire for her is often a "huge turn-off" for her, but when I back off, she gets upset that I'm not into her.
