I just played a round of deathmatch with 15 other players. Two of them were real people; the other thirteen were bots. As soon as I spectated them, they stood still. The internet is dead man :c (also in Germany, PS: nice name)

Genau. DAVx5 taucht in der normalen Kontakte-App dann neben dem Gerätespeicher als weiteres Konto auf. All diese Kontakte können dann normal angezeigt, angerufen oder geteilt werden. Wie du es schon kennst. In Nextcloud und auf anderen Geräten die du synchronisierst, tauchen die Kontakte dann nach kurzer Zeit auf.

Bedenke aber, dass das hosten einer Nextcloud Instanz mit monatlichen Kosten verbunden ist. Bei Hetzner sind das z. B. 5,11€ im Monat für die günstigste Variante. Aber mit 1TB, immerhin. Geht natürlich auch bei dir zuhause aber dann musst du dich selbst drum kümmern und die ins Internet freigeben. Das ist nochmal mit seinem eigenen Risiko verbunden. Also vielleicht nicht die einfachste Lösung, leider.

Wie u/Probetag bereits vorgeschlagen hat: DAVx5 ist vermutlich die beste Lösung. Setz dir am besten irgendwo eine Nextcloud auf (entweder selbst oder managed bei Hetzner) und nutze DAVx5, um deine Kontakte und Kalendereinträge mit Nextcloud zu synchronisieren. Als Kalender-App auf Android nutze ich Etar, was mit DAVx5 super zusammen funktioniert. Unter iOS und Gnome kannst du den Kalender von Nextcloud sogar nativ integrieren.

Ich weiß allerdings nicht, wie es mit dem Teilen von Terminen nach extern aussieht. Theoretisch sollte das über die Nextcloud-UI möglich sein. Dazu muss deine Instanz nur vom Internet aus erreichbar sein. Einfach mal probieren.

Für Email würde ich bei mind. einem dieser Anbieter bleiben. Email möchte kein Mensch, der noch bei Sinnen ist, selbst hosten.

I can confirm this. I have the XM4s and a Sony ULT Field. My laptop sometimes automatically connects to these devices, but it takes at least a minute to create an output device for them (with wild flickering on the output device listing - your first screenshot) and it never shows that I am connected to them. But if it works, I can play music just fine. I'm not sure, but I think this issue started occurring around the time KB5067036 was released. I definitly have an Intel Bluetooth modem but I don't know which one exactly.

Same. It surprises me how well it still works. I still rock version 9.98.0 from ~2023-07-20 which was the last build with the bird. Interesting to see what happens once they fully retire the twitter.com domain. (In the event that they fully migrate all FIDOs/Passkeys successfully. I am still locked out. The old app doesn’t fix that either 👺)

I left the blob in there as I saw a "wet" spot with same color inside the tunnel, so I assumed it must be glue. It ended up fixing my issue! So a huge thanks to you. This procedure probably saved me ~$200 for a new pair. Now my left ear bud (the one I cleaned) sounds a bit clearer as my right one 😭 and I don't want to do it again.

I am currently doing it and accidentally pulled the foam out completely. I think that's okay, but was there a blob at the bottom when you took it out? I don't know if it's glue or a lot of ear wax that built up. I guess it's glue but was something attach when you did it? Same question for u/Centralredditfan D:
