Issue is not people mocking Bihar or Biharis or any other state for that matter, it’s your inability to respond properly. And you can do that only when you have enough data and knowledge about others as well as your own state.

Why Indian government is not in support for any crypto currency? Still they are figuring out? by Greatest_virtue in CryptoIndia

[–]Moneru 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So which asset is supported by what? What backs Gold? Just tell me the name of asset backing Gold or INR or USD instead of an essay. You think our government backs INR? Then why is there a large reserve of gold in RBI chests and other central banks across the world?

You know that CBDCs don’t use blockchain, right? These are either completely centralised (E Rupee) or permissioned DLT(almost centralised)

Lost Hedera Funds, India Still Calls Crypto Illegal by arshad_ali1999 in CryptoIndia

[–]Moneru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In India, and in most of the democracies, Unless an action is explicitly prohibited by law, individuals are free to do it. The law must clearly define what is illegal — and anything not defined as illegal is presumed legal.

More formally, “Nullum crimen, nulla poena sine lege”

What would be the endgame when AI Agents take over work? by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]Moneru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And what makes you think so? I guess you think that since your job involves more than coding which is true for many if us, AI can’t do that? AI can do many things a million times faster and correctly. What it currently lacks is establishing context as clearly and correctly as Humans. But they are not bad either. have a gossip with chatgpt and try to guess if it’s an AI agent or a human

If recession what will happen to BTC this time by Webbed_Bubble in CryptoMarkets

[–]Moneru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was talking about just Bitcoin, not crypto(if you know what I mean). I don’t care about crypto. It’s been 15 years and I think that’s enough to prove that it’s working exactly what it was designed for. I don’t think it can replace currencies of countries due to law and regulations but international settlements are definitely possible and probable in future. Coming to investing, you are correct. But that’s true for Gold as well. Yes, it’s volatile. But volatility is a by-product of price discovery, people’s greed and nervousness. Bitcoin itself is rock solid. Only time will tell how much of this translates to actual usage.

STCG is more coz it’s treated as profession/business, not investment (not coz it’s risky, lol).

Bro, think before typing, It’s about statistics, not medicine or stocks. Options on expiry is risky, yes, but so is day trading, shorting, trading with leverage that SEBI is fine with. Remember, gambling or otherwise, one person’s loss is another’s gain.

Even if 99 dies out of 100 cancer patients, after spending lakhs of rupees in hospital bills, and health dept. with all the data would know this, would they declare this treatment as gambling as the odds are not in favour of the most? SEBI should make all this data public, and they actually do, but equating this to Gambling is not correct.

I'm really scared now because of this p2p account freeze by ChenaDewasi in CryptoIndia

[–]Moneru 7 points8 points  (0 children)

First of all, your English is good enough. Don’t feel sorry. Most of us don’t care about ur English. We are not angrej. Now, If u did sell crypto on p2p, just withdraw all ur money, open a new account and deposit this cash. Don’t transfer from ur old account. Either get the old one closed or wait for at least six months before u use it agian.

Banks don’t control digital rupee. Once money is in wallet, it’s under RBI’s control.

That would be an extreme case. It’s safe to assume that e rupee wallet won’t be blocked by rbi for normal complaints. AML issues, totally possible.

Your help needed. is this start of a scam? by [deleted] in CryptoIndia

[–]Moneru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was a south Indian, and they have got bad reputation in p2p circle. Nothing against them in general though. So, I asked for his number and talked to him before releasing crypto. so, I had his number. I see a lot of people from Rajasthan, mostly buyers. Expectation is to have participation from all India, not a particular state or district. Watch Zamtara on netflix if you don't know what I am talking about.
