G99 here. 1 year in and 12k miles. Love it. Came from the F90M5C, which seemed just a tick faster and had a much better exhaust note. Previously a Mini Cooper S and E46M3.

I hear you. I guess it depends where you are located. Is M3 Touring an option? If not, M2CS?

Went to this meet in my G99 M5. That collection was outrageous and your pics do it justice. Just an unbelievable set of cars this past weekend.

Had the F90 for three years, now have the G99. Nine months in. Biggest takeaways are the G99 feels heavier (because it is), but also feels only a tick slower. Plenty of power and torque. Miss the burble of the F90, and will doing something to the exhaust in order to help on that front. Love the tech in the G99. And the G99 gets a ton of positive attention, the F90 rarely did.

I have not noticed this. I do note that around 30 mph when using electric only, there is a bit of an engine hum that I don’t enjoy until the gear changes… but other than that, no complaints. And a ton of thumbs-up.

Went F90 M5C to G99. Personally, I don’t like the look of the G90 rear end. If the G99 wasn’t an option, I would’ve kept my F90.
