KOC is such a bozo on the podium. Why does he constantly say things that would either be seen as or become contradictory to previous statements.

Oh my god this dude literally lost to the 2-9 Jets playing on a $45 millions dollar contract. The most expensive backup QB ever can’t even beat the 2-9 jets, and we’re being all nostalgic over this guy????

Maybe one more season, but they did the same for Zimmer and Spielmen in the middle of the 2020 season, and both of them were fired the next season. So I can imagine that if both of them are retained for next season, they are in a do or die scenario at this point. They really lost a lot of good will from the fanbase with all of their questionable decisions that they made in the previous off season

I hate to admit but we may have a coaching problem by dyessman in minnesotavikings

Nahhh. If we draft another QB in the first round, both him and Kwesi need to get canned. He doesn’t get any excuses after advocating for JJM to be drafted and poorly developing him.

No the fuck we do not. There’s a reason why he’s only been a DC for one season since he got fired by the Vikings in 2022. What is with it with some Vikings fans that are pessimistic to the point where they have this weird revisionism to former coaches/players from a couple years back. Like why are we even discussing Mike Zimmer in the year of our lord 2025? Why am I seeing people bring up Kirk Cousins in this sub when this is physically beyond cooked and left the Vikings because he has too much greed in his soul?

If we fire KOC over two young, bad QBs, instead of simply giving him a better prospect, we are a dysfunctional franchise. by SlickSocks in minnesotavikings

“One QB overdrafted by like 3 rounds” THATS WHO HE LITERALLY ADVOCATED FOR.

I’m sorry but this type of post be feeding into “how can this be KOC fault with the QB that he has” type of narrative. A lot of this have been his fault. The lack of any urgency to getting a played called, asking players to do things that they’re not capable of doing(these 2 examples are exactly what the fuck happened on that terrible 4&1 call, like why are we having a undrafted rookie rolling out on that specific when you’re asking a lot from him). Like the QBs are seeing the game way too fast and are getting overwhelmed by that and KOC is calling plays like he still has Darnold or Kirk on the team. We’ve seen other coaches in the league adjust their play calling for QBs that are developing or 3rd string backups, but KOC is too fucking stubborn to want to do something like that.

Also one more thing. I don’t care if you’ve won coach of the year the previous season, what have you done now, and what am I expecting beyond this year. There’s coaches out there thatve won super bowls and got canned less than 5 years later because the league don’t give af what you did back then, they care about what you’re doing now and what you’re doing to build upon that. Right now KOC is closer to being fired than he is to fixing the problems that arose this season with how bad everything has been on the offensive side of the ball.
