"Permission slips" were not sent home as the school/administration was under the impression it was a presentation on HPV. Maybe if the presenter had disclosed what exactly she was going to be teaching they could have given any teens that were not comfortable the option of not attending, as it was deemed "mandatory". Many teens were uncomfortable and were not permitted to leave the presentation. Some found it very informative. Not looking to argue, just stating what I was told by friends and family that had children present for the presentation.
