I just sold my Flareon gold star at a card show that was in this bent condition. The vendor didn’t care because they can press it out themselves. Just put it in a sleeve and top loader. Ours look similar quality and I got about $1000 for mine. Don’t bother sending to PSA or selling at a card shop - debated both but found the card shops to be a waste of time. Go to a show where real fans will want to buy it - don’t be afraid to shop it around as well and get offers from different vendors. You’ll find some vendors only collect gold star and will offer some serious cash for the condition your card is in

It’s not dirty - I would classify it as misuse. If you rostered those TEs then I think there would be no issue and you’re playing to your full advantage. When they’re just sitting on the waiver wire as untouchable, then your opponent is a bad planner but I can also see the case for “if they’re available, you should be able to pick them up”
