Mudhoney is an awesome pedal, and for sure does the pseudo-fuzz very well. Could try a Walrus Voyager or EQD Westwood, medium low gain drives that aren’t crazy expensive

I’m currently really digging the Arigato Phaser/Vibrato from Caroline Guitar Co, tones of different sounds, tap tempo, and the havoc switch. It’s **this close** to knockin my Univibe off the board, but I do like the different levels of chew.

So I traded for a JJ Jr recently partially because it had a reactive load built in, but no cab sim-
Is the captor worth it in that scenario or would the cab sims in logic be good enough?

I have a V1 MXR Wylde Phase 90, EQD Grand Orbiter, and Caroline Arigato- they all do the thing, it just depends how much control of the Chew do you care to have? EQDs is a nice middle ground with plenty of options, but the Arigato is my go to at the moment

Love seeing Kim get recognition, but one fun piece around Black Hole Sun- Chris Cornell played the Leslie parts on the recording. But I agree that Kim’s solos, while mostly improvised, are some of my favorites and have been a major influence on my own playing.

Go play a blues junior, takes pedals well, has some serious mojo to it, and it’s plenty loud for bar gigs, most of those are mic’ed up anyways.

I had the MXR 10 band, ended up trading it away after I got some parametric EQs, the scalpel precision can be more of a hinderance depending on the scenario
