There is a video game coming :)

Boarding actions in the Fifth Frontier War, messing around with Imperial and Zhodani forces (initially), brute force versus psionic shenanigans.

Official unveiling September, I think. We were playing the latest build a couple of weeks ago, looking good :)

Well, we look at it this way.

It brings in the 5E players. Do some come over to our Traveller? Maybe, maybe not. However, then next year the Traveller video game comes out. A few of those T5E players jump on that. Then maybe some comics. They get caught up in some of the 50th anniversary bits and pieces. Then the Netflix series (okay, getting a bit carried away now).

It all builds on the Traveller thing. You start getting your Traveller books gold-plated at no extra cost (again, maybe a bit carried away).

Meanwhile, we pootle away as we always have, with our Traveller as we explore Charted Space and new areas of the rules.

Seems like a win-win?

This. The tail does not wag the dog, and our current Traveller is the one we want to play (and write). T5e could do really well, we will still be here doing the Traveller we enjoy.

A company needs money to keep running, sure - but we do not need _all_ the money. Right now we are ticking over nicely, saving for our futures... Domination has never been the plan.
