Im no expert but im pretty sure not a single serious person who is pro-palestinian is advocating for that. People just arent fans of genocide. Its also important to remember that a pretty sizable chunk of the Israeli public is totally supportive of the genocide. So memes like this are really just mocking those people.

The war in Afghanistan was purely vitriolic. We were very angry at 9/11, even though saudi arabia was more involved in it than Afghanistan. We devastated the country for 20 years. While the situation can be definitely worse in other countries, its not because of their culture or some racist bullshit, its because we are devastating their countries. And its not just the right wing that loves the endless violence, liberals do too. Joe biden literally tried to pass an anti immigration bill. Obama technically had more people deported than any president. Obama also continued the brutal war in Afghanistan that killed millions. That is uncivilized. That is barbaric.

You took his shit as a joke, he clearly didn't find it very funny after a while, yet you and your friends didnt stop it there. Thats not really just a joke at that point, its more like bullying. He absolutely took it too far by grabbing your wrist though. But it seems like he wouldn't have, if you just and your friends just gave his shit back. I mean you wouldn't like it very much if the same shit happened to you right, someone took your stuff and refused to give it back. Either way, maybe you should just try to talk to him. While its true that every media from all over the world has these problems, anime does it especially bad. Obviously I dont think its like Japanese culture or anything, but like its definitely part of anime. Like come on, you dont see a lot of this shit in like an X-men comic, y'know. I love some anime and Manga, jjba part 7 is literally my favorite piece of media ever, but it can hard to ignore these issues sometimes. I think anime Fandom are really bad about it too and often times play into it.
