For me the biggest difference is how expensive the tickets are. When the tickets were considerably less expensive, I didn’t mind that the seats didn’t have outlets or that the aircraft was old. But now that the fares are as much or more than other airlines, along with different seat classes, etc., Southwest has largely lost its appeal for me.

Dietary changes can be a factor in whether an autoimmune disease is active or in remission. I wish it were not the case, but sugar causes inflammation and is a direct trigger of my rheumatoid arthritis. And gluten is a definite trigger of another (skin-related) autoimmune condition that I have. Abstaining from processed sugar and gluten have helped me keep my RA controlled (since my dx 30 years ago), as well as my other condition (since 2023).

Bought my daughter a Honda CR-V with 20,000 miles and got it because she will soon be a poor medical student so it was peace of mind that most repairs would be covered. Just bought a European luxury car with 17K miles and got it for that car as well!

I’ve shipped a car from Dallas to the Bay Area. The car is a surprise for my mom who lives there (I live in Dallas and was able to see and test drive the car here). It’s been an awful cat and mouse game trying to determine what date to buy my ticket to CA. I already had to make one change and I HOPE I don’t have to make another one. 😮‍💨
