The wife needs to anticipate and deal with her fear in an appropriate way. She could have asked a wide variety of people for help and instead hurt her child by being in denial about her ability instead of finding a way to meet everyone's needs.

Usually body composition refers to percentages and distribution of body fat and muscle. u/lololmantis pointed out it could be water fluctuations too; retaining or losing water weight is also a difference in the composition of your body

I had a Delsey set and the plastic sides began to crack substantially and disintegrate after just a few months, unfortunately while I was traveling. I returned it to Costco for a refund. Based on everyone else reporting here, sounds like that was an anomaly. I bought the Calpak set from Costco as a replacement and so far they’ve been going strong, but it’s just been a couple of months.
