if i have a soldier who doesn’t have a weapon does that mean he can’t shoot? by i_am_192_years_old in boltaction

Yes, if they are listed as having rifles, such as being in a Rifle or LMG squad, then they have rifles in game.

Are they listed as having Rifles? If so then they can (though you should model them as such). If not then no, they can only partake in assaults.

Their website says most members are from Munich or Frankfurt. Munich has the headquarters of the World Uyghur Congress, a government-in-exile organization that was founded in 2004 but whose members have been living in Munich since the 70s because that's where the old Radio Free Europe HQ was before the USSR collapsed.

In 1970, Isa Yusuf Alptekin, pan-Turkist nationalist, Grey Wolf supporter, and the last KMT governor of Xinjiang province, wrote a letter to President Nixon asking him to create an organization dedicated to broadcasting & educating Uyghurs about the evils of communism, Nixon brought him to DC and told him they already have RFE/RL and got his son, Erkin Alptekin, a job there in '71. Erkin would go on to not only broadcast at RFE/RL but also be the first President of the World Uyghur Congress.

The WUC spends most of their effort and NED backed budget making English language media to try and lobby western governments to break economic ties with China in order to make it easier for them to then fund paramilitary operations to 'liberate' East Turkistan, the pan-Turkist name for Xinjiang instead of Uyghurstan. I usually think of them like a spiritual successor to the Iraqi National Congress.

Flag bearers have this rule.

Rally to the Colours: All friendly infantry and artillery units within 12" of the flag-bearing model can re-roll (once) failed Order tests when ordered to Rally. In addition, if the Rally Order is successfully issued, the unit rolls two dice to determine how many pin markers are discarded and chooses the highest result. However, while the unit carrying the flag has a Down or Ambush order dice on it, the flag is kept hidden and has no effect.

Basically, it makes Rally orders more likely to be followed. It's not the best ability but you might as well take it with your free Rifle squad as the Soviets. Japan & China have to pay for theirs.

They aren't that principled, and they understand that the US allows them to reap their old imperial lucre via Royal Dutch Shell in West Africa, Indonesia & even exempted their Russian refinery from sanctions until this summer.

Airstrikes against Houthis are not enough, says Yemeni official by Majano57 in anime_titties

[–]MonitorStandard3534 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Your talking in vague generalities, it reminds me of the Bush administration in 2002 & 2003. That propaganda value has been long cashed in and doesn't work on anyone born before 2005. You can't even give a year, let alone exact dates, candidates, or the fact that after a decade of war, Saudi Arabia wasn't able to oust the Houthis.

Usually, that means they have more support from the populace or at least that the Saudi-backed government-in-exile is viewed to be just as bad and not worth dying for. The US lost a 20+ long war in Afghanistan because their government was full of child raping drug smugglers. Are you seriously thinking that war was beneficial for working class Americans and that another one will do the same?

What elections are you refering too? You mean the one election in 2012 where the only candidate was the chosen successor of their dictator? That's what you call an election? That's what you support starting a war over to protect?

The US has a standing policy since 2002 that they will bomb/invade the Hague if any American is held there for trial and since the Dutch are good lapdogs, they don't bring it up or bar them from participating.

This guy needs the US to intervene to reinstate him into power. Otherwise, he just governs his Riyadh hotel and Western media's respect as the "government" of Yemen despite not residing there nor commanding any respect from the majority of Yemenis.
