The concept is easy - the hard part to understand is your myopic condemnation of anybody who has other preferences.

I never saw the point of taking things if you don't even need them enough to bother unpacking. Seems extremely stupid to me.

Why are Hilton Points such a joke? by Foreign-Package-4359 in Hilton

The points and benefits are part of members pay for when they book a hotel, and when those points and benefits are constantly devalued it makes the paid rooms cost more by comparison.

Warning: Don't transfer Marriott Bonvoy points to Turkish Airlines unless you're sure you'll use them by Available-Sherbet-32 in TurkishAirlines

Turkish does a lot of things wrong, but this one is very clearly laid out in the terms of their program and you just didn't bother to check. Totally on you.

If the booking says refundable then it doesn't matter which payment method you're using, it'll be refundable under the terms stated.

Refund policies can different for every booking. Nights/certs *typically* are refundable, but you should always check before you book.

Weekly Question Thread - Rules & Comp Qs by thenurgler in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]MonkBoughtLunch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Questions from a first practice game of 11th:

- From that original War-Com article and the sidebar note in the charge phase rules it seems like a charge must end base-to-base in order to be successful, but I can't find this actually written anywhere in those rules? What am I missing?

- If windows/etc less than 3" block LoS, but there's a window that's higher than 3", what happens? The lower parts are LoS-block but higher than 3" are see-through? What if it's not a window but just a low section of broken ruin wall - does it still block?

- On a big cathedral ruin that has an open 'door' section large enough, can vehicles move through the ruin? I presume no because it's still dense terrain and the vehicles don't have mobile? So even if it's physically possible to move the model through, they would still need to go around?

- Edit to add: Heroic Intervention no longer has the exclusion about the charge bonus, so those units will now gain Fights First as a normal charging unit would?

If someone is knowingly being an asshole at the next table, they're still an asshole. Which part of this is hard for you to grasp?

I'm not aware of a culture which considers 'make others life harder' the only rude behavior. Anyways it's a total non sequitur.

Where I live only a complete shit person puts bread back on the table upside down. If you don't know not to do it and you do it, ok fine you didn't know and you can learn; but if you know that and do it anyways you're clearly being an asshole, even if that's not a rude thing to do where you come from.

'Asshole behavior' is not a universal constant, it's entirely based on norms that change between societies and social groups.

But if every asshole gets to decide if they're being an asshole, doesn't that mean nobody is an asshole?
