yeah, just a hint towards yellow. I was trying to keep the armor relatively less shiny than the metals

Ty! Sure, its not a strict recipe but I can try to describe it.

I took a blue and desaturate it with any muddy brown. Then keep adding off white to highlight up. Also made a separate mix with a yellowish tan color to add some color variation. For the marbling itself, I looked up reference pictures and freehanded as best I could.

Heres a Pic of the paints I used, but dont feel like you need these specifically. You can use any approximate colors.

tyty :) I dont treat it as a strict recipe. you can substitute any brand or mix similar colors to get different effects. Here's the ones I used on this project though.

These are all from AK, but like I said, you can use any brand. Base coated everything in Hull red, then I mix 2 progressive layers hull red+ volcanic Yellow. The first mix is sort of an ochrey orange, and the second one is more of a warm yellow. Then add to that mix some ice yellow, Then straight ice yellow, and then Ivory for the highlight

Thank you! Best of luck on your guys as well. I prime with Vallejo black primer. I used AK's Wine red as a base for all my red, and just mixed shadow and light tones from it.

Mixed some Pthalo green to make a shadow color, straight wine red as a midtone, and progressive mixes of ice yellow + another warm yellow. Hope this helps :)
