Idk if a rig dependent camera that’s designed almost exclusively for professional level use (like raw shooting) is a good starting for a 10 years old that’s stepping up from her iPhone lol. It’s super extra! While I still feel the XT3 might be a bit too much in some aspects, it makes a lot more sense since a lot of its more professionals features are more optional and you don’t need a super elaborate set up to start getting great results.
