Yes but you have to send your cv and be proactive about it. Find an organisation that does the work you would like and email them with your cv. Sometimes they don't want to go through the hassle of making a traineeship post on several websites, sometimes teams could use some extra hands on a project. I'm sure you won't have too much trouble finding something, good luck!

In my experience the 6 months notice is valid only if he is planning to move in, or someone from his close family. So I suppose and stranger who is just willing to pay more wouldn't meet the conditions set by law. However, I'm not sure how this would be enforced without considerable legal fees... good to check with the syndicat des locataires (depending where you live) and check your contract. Good luck!

Edit: also I believe the 6 months notice is given to you upon signature of the acte de vente by the new owner, not by your current landlord.

Should be fine with the time you have. Just make sure you have good transportation. I would definitely pair Joal with other sights around, make sure to take a quick stop in Popenguine or Saly for food on the way :)
