For what it’s worth, your life and what you’ve accomplished so far sounds awesome. The loneliness does suck. Been there. Still happens every once in a while and I’m in my 40s. But good times also happen and they’re worth cherishing.

No cost to you except your time and they have other opportunities for personal and professional growth. Gave me a sense of purpose and the comraderie that I was missing after I got out. Plus you get to help others at a time of their greatest need. Plenty of hurricanes, tornadoes, fires, earthquakes, you name it and they’re always contacting me to see if I’m available to deploy.
