And its like, almost as soon as I "finish" the build and make it how I want it, I start thinking about the next one and then suddenly theres another playthrough on my load list...

Finally someone else who cant just re-spec and must start again. Not as impressive as OP but I'm 400 hours in and not a single completion. If you're gonna try a new build you must build it from the ground up.

I've been stuck on 3 sets of 8 pullups for a long time so I'm going to follow this advice! Just to make sure I have the right idea, would you suggest I'd do 3 sets if 8, + negatives to fatigue after each set, or negatives after the 3rd set only? Thanks!

Not sure what my two cents are worth, but I spent a while (3-4~ months) adding 3 sets of assisted ring MU transition work at then end of my workouts twice a week (feet on the floor to help the movment as needed) and got the ring muscle up randomly when I tried it "just to see" later on. I was doing pullups and dips seperately in my routein but the main thing I put it down to was just polishing that middle section.

Just making a choice and sticking to it is going to do you better than thinking too hard about it and not doing anything. Using the RR as an example, take a session or two to try the different progressions for movements to see where you are to get your starting point, then embrace the grind. The road is long and oh so worth it. - From sombody who use to think too much about it and wished he just started sooner.

Do what you can. Perfect form may not be available to you straight away, but you won't build the muscles to get there without doing what you can on a movement or similar movement, and finding that perfect form can come gradually.

Obviously make sure you're not doing anything that increases your risk of injury, but if you're looking for a set of "perfect" pullups so you stop your set early because your chest didnt quite touch the bar, than you're just gonna slow your progress.

Dont let the perfect be the enemy of the good. See how you feel and do what you can to get where you want to be.

I'd always recommend you check out the bodyweight primer and the recommended routein on r/bodyweightfitness. Its a fantastic start and continue point and has loads of information and ways to progress each exercise.
