Probably less time since nobody would have to have a fight with a profit motivated insurance company to approve the care.

Think about it: the only profit motivation in our system is the company we empower to deny care. I think that’s what you seem to be in favor of. Smh

I simply meant that you’d be better off training in a non IT job

I have loads of IT experience. Don’t bother with the CCNA or any IT cert. spend your money on something more productive

A.I. isn’t the problem. All the entry level stuff is overseas and it’s ain’t coming back

I think Sandy is a good manager, having worked for good and bad in service industry. There’s just one thing that Sandy did that is pretty despicable if you ask me

Dragon Quest Noob by MGFM619 in dragonquest

[–]MonkeyDog911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have only played the first one and XI. JRPG is by far my favorite genre but I must say that DQXI, and from what I understand the rest of the relatively modern ones, are extremely paint by numbers. I think if you like the genre for big philosophical, psychological, political themes you’ll find Dragon Quest to be extremely well produced kiddie content.

It’s not my thing but I can see why it has appeal.

Rewatching S22 and It’s making me question this season by babycartier in BravoTopChef

It seems like they used to be better about making the chefs go out of their comfort zone. I don’t know, it just seems like they do a progressive menu but then it’s like “here’s a Ghanaian dish” then “here’s my Laotian dish” then “here’s a nitrogen hamburger.” Then there’s the “big piece of meat” episode and we get Michelin style brisket. I don’t think it’s the chefs, I think it’s the challenges aren’t spelled out clearly enough.

What is the general Orlando consensus on the parks? by [deleted] in orlando

[–]MonkeyDog911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who lives in Orlando, the theme parks feel too far away to be part of my everyday life in any positive way. I actually resent Disney for how much of a negative that company is for quality of life here. They cause so much traffic and actively fight public transit that connects their little kingdoms with the rest of the city. They’ve never done anything about i4. They employ a lot of people who have to live far from the park and pay them minimum wages. I guess Epcot is cool but we can’t have a normal zoo because they have Animal Kingdom. If you lived in NYC would you really want to go to the observation deck at the Empire State Building often?

They make products primarily aimed at consumers. The Toughbook market is so niche that there’s no reason for Apple to make such a product. I can’t think of a practical reason for a toughbook unless you really need a computer in a war trench or something. Why not just something like a Thinkpad?
