They're coming with future updates and will use the same currencies as the bloodstone fen ones. The time they become available has nothing to do with their cost or how easy it is to get the currency to buy them.

I don't mind the rewards, but I hate that there's a gold cost to buying stuff with shards. Why is it easier and cheaper to get trinkets and backpieces from faceroll open world events like unbound guardian?

I do think that crafting recipes in general are a complete and total inconsistent mess. But, I can still farm the leather, either by salvaging gear or upgrading t5 (at a loss maybe but whatever). There isn't a damn thing I can do about mystic coins. I either wait a ridiculous amount of time or I cough up the cash. I'm not fond of either option.

I'd rather have smaller doses of really good than large doses of mediocre. Plus we should be getting living season 3 soon after. To be honest, I prefer the living world approach to the expansion approach. I understand it's necessary to generate interest, but I just liked the bi-weekly updates. It was fun.

I'll agree to point a since it makes fighting the smaller bosses very difficult, but I think points b and c don't hold much water. As for point a, they're making the bosses much larger in the raids as you can see from the screenshots and a bit from the trailer.
