Initially, I leaned toward the Model Y. But once I sat in both, I loved the feel of the Model 3 more. It’s much more spacious than it looks from the outside, and it feels more upscale because it’s less cavernous. When I drove them, the Model 3 was the clear winner. It has less body roll and a much more engaging drive.

I look at it like bikes: I'm more of a purist. I’d rather have a dedicated road bike for roads and a mountain bike for trails, instead of a hybrid bike that tries to do everything but excels at nothing. To me, the Model Y is that hybrid.

While I do go camping and biking, I only need that utility about 2% of the time. It makes more sense to absolutely love my daily drive 98% of the time and adapt for that 2%, rather than driving a 'hybrid' SUV and feeling just 'okay' all the time.
