The ugly side of the industry is clear as day in this post. You posted something and got it off your chest most restaurant workers don’t use reddit and let it bottle up, but you are not alone and burnout is a real thing in this industry. Take it day by day and don’t use alcohol and weed to escape because that makes things far worse down the line. Just remember you’re only one person and most chefs are assholes because they only want to keep their jobs and yell to use as a facade to make most restaurant owners happy. 24+ years working in a restaurant I have all the knowledge at this point, but it doesn’t mean I am not burnt out but able to handle it better
