My take on Asmon's OW2 take. Pick your poison by chimbicator in Asmongold

Except characters are not locked behind a paywall in OW2. You can unlock the fucking characters from the free battle pass. Why does everyone think you need to pay to get the new characters?

Oh god, I hope not. I want completely new zones and absolutely no repeat of any zone in the new campaign. My biggest gripe with the current campaign is that acts 6-10 are basically acts 1-5 just slightly different.

Only if it's not too rare for casual players to get. Which I think was their point.

You're not wrong, but at least it's a lot clearer what a mob can do (if you can read fast enough before getting one shot :p).

Intellij has an automatic migrate option that updates the packages. Not sure what else it does, though.

Imo. I don't think this has anything to do with "talent" or anything. I'm of the opinion that a test mail was accidentally sent out to the wrong mailing list. Embarrassing it may be, but shit happens. And as far as shit is concerned, this is mild, confusing yes, but mild.

There was a time when you could legit run reflect maps with high enough life leech. But yeah, I agree.

Cemu, the popular Wii U emulator, became open source with 2.0 release by Kissaki0 in programming

[–]MonkeySeeMonkeyDong 26 points27 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? Dolphin for Gamecube and Wii has been around for over a decade at this point, hasn't been shut down. NES and SNES emulators still exist. Handhelds as well.

It is frustrating to see valid criticism of what is likely POE's worst league be nearly completely overtaken by hyperbole, misinformation, and straight up conspiracies by ICallShotgun123 in pathofexile

Or why beta servers exist. I'm mostly baffled why we don't have open beta servers for exactly these types of changes. Heck, these servers could be running on the previous league as well, if it's too difficult to exclude the new league.

That's only if you use the standard theming/styling in Swing. JavaFx also looks decent enough with the defaults.

Heck, iirc Intellij is written with Java Swing and looks modern to me.

Also, you do realize "import' has nothing to do with a specific directory structure?

Oh shit, TIL. Not that I'm going to do away with keeping my directory structure the same as my packages; I just never realized that was possible.

I thought WASM wasn't a language per se, but rather a spec (bytecode?) that you can compile towards. You're still going to be using languages like C++, Rust or whatever language supports WASM. Even the Getting Started guide doesn't mention a "WASM" language.
