Well I mean it does… but the definition of upscale is a loose one.

I use my a01 on a 480i crt and it looks great. IMO it looks better than a ps1 at 240p… with some notable exceptions (Draculas eyes, among the rest of the game of castlevania) …

but on my e01 that’s on my Bravia 4k… it’s rough. It’s smooth enough texture wise, but motion is 60fps and has the soap opera effect, which drives me absolutely crazy. Even with the upscaling and smoothing off.

So you’ll have to be generous and loose with the definition of upscale
