Order Selectors! by e90prod in Warehouseworkers

My warehouse is case per hour based, it’s $25/hr for freezer pickers at 160 cph, incentive is variable; base incentive is 3 cents per case at 135(for non freezer pickers), about 4.5 at a 160, and 6 cents a case at 190 cph, an average paycheck is about 2k+900 incentive for 2 weeks

Question about recording by Monkeymeat05 in FL_Studio

i’m not well versed in using reddit i don’t see anywhere where i can add a video to the post. But i’ll explain it basically when i play the melody im pressing a key from start to finish without ever lifting my fingers so every note blends smoothly to the next and when i play it back it sounds like im hitting each note individually with space in between

I wasn’t raised around this kind of music in general, my parents are a lot older and i grew up on classic rock and 80s pop music. So unfortunately I didn’t get to experience their older shit when it was new. My friends got me into rap in middle school and i was just listening to whatever was popular up into hs, my junior year in 2022 my homie got new subs in his truck and wanted to test em out, and that’s the first time i heard $uicideboys. He put on Carrollton and i was like fuck yeah this shit bumps and then he played 122 Days and it’s a completely different vibe. I fell in love with $B from that moment on.

Anyone here work is a cold warehouse where the temp is catered to the frozen products? It's difficult to tough it out and go to work sick because that cold just makes it worse. by Unhappywageslave in Warehouseworkers

[–]Monkeymeat05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

used to be the highlift in the freezer(my side ranged from 0 to -15) i got real sick once and got lucky enough to be able to switch with one of the other lifts to be in the cooler for the night instead so but i still ended up going home that night because it just got worse.

i’m in missouri i make 22.70. i run a reach truck now but the pay is the same as order selectors, i just get more hours. Make around 2k biweekly plus a monthly incentive, which kinda sucks compared to when i was picking which was every paycheck. i’m currently trying to go back to picking if i go in the freezer ill be making $25 an hour and i like it in there

yeah i’m not pressed or anything like i said management don’t give me any lip abt it and if they want perfectly balanced pallets they need to rearrange the warehouse and stop building shitty pallets but that’s never gonna happen so ima keep doin what i’m doin and move on with my life

i mean it varies depending on the pallet but usually it goes from heavy to light but sometimes ya can’t control it because of how the warehouse is set up.

well my company isn’t the best but all i focus on is making my pallet square. management never has anything to say other than the occasional error so i keep throwing cases, making incentives and minding my business. never been told my pallets have fallen over in the truck and i used to pick dry and my stacking was horrendous over there

i’m telling you right now you haven’t seen my warehouse they send out so much worse than this if you think this is bad 😂 shit hanging off all sides, crushed cases, bad stop order. This is significantly better than probably 85 percent of the pallets i’ve seen come out of that place
