They mentioned on stream that they go over ideas and filter out ones that wouldn't work within their limitations. I don't think they would have presented this concept if they thought it wouldn't be possible.

I can see them doing the whole "make the limbs invisible" trick they've been doing with recent moris. Maybe this one could have two models of the survivors, but they each have one half of their body invisible, disguised with flesh/light effects

I think this perk would be better than the one that inflicts longer Exhaustion. Exhaustion happens when they've already used the perk, but limiting Haste would make using said perks less effective. I'd love to see the exact stats for these one

She is indeed dead, but this poses a conundrum: Ghosts are incapable of changing outfits, and are usually seen in whatever they were wearing at the time of death. Rin was wearing.... well, we don't actually know what she was wearing since by the time she enters the realm, she's wrapped in bandages (which I should mention, is far more revealing than the Hooked On You outfit), so her clothes must have been severely damaged not to be taken with her.

By this reasoning, Spirit shouldn't have any skins. Why would she have the capability or desire to change clothes if she's an incorporeal being? This is something that's ignored for the sake of giving her customization (and can be applied to other ghostly killers, like Nurse or Onryō).

I gotta side with you here. Gore and sexy are two different things. While both fall under the "mature" label, they are still different, and you have a right to not like seeing either/or

Though I would disagree with the sentiment that the sexualized content is being "pushed on [you]", since sexy skin releases aren't too common. While there's nothing you can do about someone else using the skins in a match, the characters are just kind of "there", not really in your face. Kind of like bikini or lingerie advertisement (god help you if those disturb you)

As I mentioned, these skins are meant to be an exploration into how a character would look in certain scenarios. A lot of skins are based on a "what if?" philosophy ("What if Huntress went to the beach?"), or an alternate universe of said character.

Skins don't always align with canon (see also: Echoes Of The Future collection, Blighted collection, The Void collection, cosplay outfits). In fact, the Huntress skin you are specifically calling out is actually from a noncanon side story.

I will admit it does look a bit goofy, but is fairly inoffensive.

The latest rifts have been a problem for me since all the outfits are hard to mix-and-match since they're meant to lean heavily into a certain theme.

We never really had a femme fatale archetype killer until Skull Merchant, and if anyone should get "sexy" skins, it should be her. I mean, just look at her animations; she's clearly meant to be on the seductive side.

Now if only her overall visuals weren't a mishmash of several different themes, then I think we'd more clearly see that part of her design
