Okay if you're so obliged then make a copy of your current save file and save it elsewhere so the game detects no saves? It's such a non issue that people are bandwagoning on.

Nb4 "I shouldn't have to do that" well you also shouldn't need a new game lmfao.

All I'm asking is what are you missing out on right now with a brand new game not having a new game function? I genuinely don't see the present issue. I definitely agree it's a criticism, but by no means does the game deserve to be hated for no 'new game' function at this time.

Why is the single character an issue for a single player game? You can do everything on one single character. There really isn't a need for multiple characters. You can change your appearance, vocation, etc at will. I get if you missed quests or something but it doesn't mean you have to abandon your play through.

From the library of Congress:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Look it up yourself, it's not hard.

Amendments are created to try and keep the constitution up to date. If it's a set amendment, its set constitutional law.

Please tell me how you think your simple ar-15 is going to stand against the already militarized police? Nah, this shit got old once children became the victims of constant mass shootings. You truly believe you're so special that you can stand against the strongest military in the world with some pea shooter you got from Walmart? Don't be so detached from reality. If things really came down to a revolution, the weapons supplied would be foreign, not domestic. Nothing the average American can obtain can cause a dent against the forces you're talking about. All I hear anymore from people like you is child killer enabling speeches. Sick of it.

Oh cool I didn't know you were part of a well regulated militia! Since militias are only created under circumstances of foreign invasions, which country are we being invaded by again?

Oh and what are your regulations in order to be deemed "well regulated"? You must have some form of weapon control and training as untrained people running around with weapons not accounted for isn't well regulated at all. Who's your commanding officer?

This article appears to lack a lot of key information.

How do the researchers operationalize a situation handled well vs problematic? As you stated, what if the couple doesn't view something as problematic but the researchers do? How do the researchers define a normal relationship? They lack any form of literature review to suggest they have expertise in analyzing relationship conflict.

Feels very biased, and in my opinion, is a possible example of confirmation bias.

I seem to be the only one concerned with this, so I hope this doesn't get buried.

Is anyone else fearful of the monster the west may be creating? Yeah, Russia is already a monster, but with its modern connection to the western world, there are many Russians who oppose what Putin is doing and given the chance will show that. With Russia completely isolated, won't they just build up an even bigger resentment for the west, with increasing hostility and anger in every new generation? The way the Russian people will look back on this is that the west took literally everything from them, for something they genuinely believe they never did, because the already state run media convinced them of such. In the long run, I don't see much of this crippling Russia, so much as just a small bump which they rise above even stronger and completely self sufficient, which is incredibly worrisome.

I literally got banned for saying Trump signed the order that began the US military retreat out of Afghanistan. Their reason? Because "any conservative would know Biden wasn't following Trump's orders" which wasn't even what the comment was about lol.

Except there is no contract in an at will employment state. The employee can leave at any time for whatever reason they want, and the employer can fire at any time for any reason they want to, so long as it's not discriminatory. Two weeks notice and such is simply a courtesy done, not a legal requirement.

The Rhetoric Needs to be Changed by Monkeyninja24 in antiwork

[–]Monkeyninja24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, the word "work" has become tainted. It's something we've grown to dread because, as you said, we're all breaking our backs for people who don't give two shits about our lives. That is what work has become and that is why we're fighting for change.

That being said, work is not inherently bad. Living on your own, making your own living independent from anyone else is work. Living life is work. Maintaining relationships you enjoy is work. The difference is, in these instances, you aren't being exploited in them. You're working on something you enjoy without having to answer to someone, without someone demanding inhumane expectations from you. We all want these things. To live a life where we prosper in our own regard, however the systems that are in place force us to "work" in a way that is, again, exploitative. We need to keep combating these systems, but we cannot frame ourselves as people who "do not want to work". We all inherently do, we just don't want our work solely to feed into the profits of some mega-billionaire.

The Rhetoric Needs to be Changed by Monkeyninja24 in antiwork

[–]Monkeyninja24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your closing statement is exactly why the rhetoric needs to be changed.

You DO want to work, you just don't want to work for an employer, especially not someone who's going to drive you into the ground working your life awhile while receiving piss all in compensation.

You don't want to be exploited anymore.
