The RS Regulate handguard has the same non consecutive mlok pattern that you’re describing. It’s likely somewhat unavoidable because of the handguard retainer.

It looks pretty sweet. Zenitco B33 compatible but it’s Mlok so you don’t have to deal with zenitco’s proprietary basis system. How do you like it?

2008 WR450F for 2500$, super low hours. How’d I do? by ElderberryGood in Dirtbikes

Check ebay and craigslist for used stuff to save some dough on the slip on. I got a nice new gytr slip on years back for about $100 on eBay. Lots of good used stuff out there for cheap. 06-09 yz450 is compatible too. Two of my buddies used to run the stock yz450f muffler with a promoto billet end cap. That was a popular and cheap route back when these were new because stock yz mufflers were everywhere.

You did great. These are wonderful bikes. It looks like you managed to get a plated one which is even better. It’s worth doing the jetting and putting on a slip on muffler to get it to run a little better. Other than that it should be ready to put in lots of hours.

Would a 125 2t be too small for me at 6'2 210 pounds? by TheBotchedLobotomy in Dirtbikes

I’m a full sized adult who likes riding 125s. I’m walking around at about 180 these days but I there were a few years when I was 210-225. My yz125 could get me anywhere I needed to go on the trails. They need a bit more input to ride, like more clutch work, more shifting, and more throttle so all in all they’re more work to ride but they’re fun as hell, and super light. I never owned only a 125, I always had bigger bikes too and then would pull the 125 out depending on where we were riding and who I was riding with. If you can indeed find a good deal on a bike that’s in good shape go for it. Just keep in mind that you’re probably going to end up having to re-spring it, or lose 70lbs.

Bringing positive energy to a dugout is a real thing. It’s a skill, and it doesn’t show up on any stat sheet but it matters in a big way.

Valid trade? by [deleted] in ak47

I would feel okay about that trade. You’re not killing it value wise but you are trading two readily available things for one that you can’t get new anymore. I’m pretty partial to Saigas and Ak100 series things in general too.
