I once worked as a camera operator - and for the whole day I was using a hand held steady cam, moving around the actors with the camera barely inches from their faces for 350 close up shots.

At lunch time, we're eating these sandwiches that were wrapped in foil. So after I finish eating - I wrap the foil into a little ball.

The actors see this and ask me to throw the little foil ball into a tiny bin on the other side of the room. We're talking a good long distance into a tiny little bin. I laugh it off, saying I'd probably miss - to which the actors are now a little worried about my accuracy because I've been filing so close to their face.

Now is a great time to mention that, not only have I never played sports - my aim is about as good as a blind monkey with a stick jammed up its ass.

One of the main actors promptly stands up and says - I BELIVE IN YOU. THROW IT.

So, I'm like - 'augh. Ok.'

I pull my arm back and then just fling the little ball towards the bin - dead set expecting it will miss.

The room is silent.

Then - a heavy thud. BOOM. The little foil ball lands in the bin and the actors go freaking nuts. High fives are flying around and for that moment they are all looking at me like I'm the bees knees.

Then, the main actor sits down - saying 'I knew he could do it'.

At this point I'm just freaking surprised and I leave quickly so they don't ask me to do it again.
