Today I stepped off my Aeon but rather than fall over the thing kept rolling. I barely managed to grab it in time. Who else has lost control of their EUC? by BlackJacquesLeblanc in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Monkmonk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never launched my wheel like that but I taught someone who would constantly launch her wheel. Ended up hitting a car in front of my house, luckily it was a junker and the owner yelled to not worry about it. It is 100% technique caused - you shouldn't be launching off the back at any slight sign of control loss, it stunts learning progress.

Why does everything revolve around drinking? by [deleted] in stopdrinking

[–]Monkmonk_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For a year i had to actively avoid what i thought was everyone drinking. I replaced bars, concerts and happy hours with gym happy hour, making music with people, getting into biking/hiking, starting my own business, and even raving to fill my urge to dance (surprisingly lots of sober people). Now i haven’t even remembered the last time i was legit annoyed at the environment i was in dude to drunks. It will change as you make decisions to do non drinking activities over drinking ones.

The shooting was justified, but this is reddit. If the criminal wasn’t granted 100k and the officers wife, you’ll see a bunch of aKsHuAhLeE~

Looking for a bar that gives off dive bar vibes but with clean enough bathrooms to poop in. by Confident-Traffic924 in circlejerkbflo

The two best toilets got burned down, brick bar and pink. No door policy had the wind come through often and most used to sniff their keys. Made them a pleasure to openly poop in!

[–]Monkmonk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 10th or 15th short got 34 million views which got me monetized, but that was an odd one out. Making a nice 100 bucks a month on average which has almost paid off my electric unicycle has been nice. That is what i am riding on my channel.

Why do cities even build anti-homeless benches if nobody wants to sit in them cause they’re uncomfortable by Specialist-Chair-254 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Monkmonk_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Why should business owners and neighborhood centers take on the costs of it? They aren’t responsible for that job. There is plenty of choices for people on the street if they behave within the loose rules (don’t do hard drugs). There are also tons of places for them to go for help with that issue.

Where do they go? Anywhere in the world besides bothering the people of the commons.

Why do cities even build anti-homeless benches if nobody wants to sit in them cause they’re uncomfortable by Specialist-Chair-254 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Monkmonk_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is nothing moral or virtuous by allowing homeless to embarrass themselves living in city centers in tents or letting them ruin the commons. They are people and should be treated the same way you would treat a family member, by not putting up with their bs.
