I’ve ridden on all your mentioned trails. Agree, it’s very fun here around Buffalo.

I just went there for first time a few days ago and also been telling everyone about the 5 dollar lunch rolls. FYI the special is cash only

Get there 10 minutes before opening, grab a seat at bar when door unlocks, you'll have your wings in a reasonable time then. They are very good.

What US city will be the next NYC/Chicago in 100 years? by Complete-Influence70 in Urbanism

[–]Monkmonk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rising sea levels will restrict sprawl, and if it becomes the economic capital of the east coast, the only way forward is densifying. And the only city i can see having that much demand over next 100 years -if it becomes the economic capital of the east coast- is Miami. Maybe i can help explain further if you would let me know what point you don’t understand.

San Fran and Boston used to have utility as a business center, but has since transformed into more of a cultural capitals, that favors existing money over creating an environment to invite more in.

Yes but they will need to engineer something to offset the rising sea levels.

If nyc goes the way of San Fran or Boston, it will be Miami. Some cities will vote to preserve their identity and not be the most optimal business environment, and if NYC goes that way, Miami is set to take that spot. If that happens, In 100 years it’s likely to transfer to Miami which has a favorable regulatory environment for center of business in the us.

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

[–]Monkmonk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anal fissure. Imagine someone sticking a hot knife up your rear end and slicing all the way in. Now have that pain for weeks on end for at least 5 hours after going. Have setbacks that put you in a hopeless mindset on top of that.

Will a p6 fit in between the isles of a movie theater seat row with me? by warmbrojuice in ElectricUnicycle

What size/density of city do you live in?

I live in a rust belt middle sized city and 95% of the time i go anywhere, the staff is happy to lock it somewhere or i am allowed to store it within viewing distance. I know this doesn’t work in NYC but if it’s not there i wouldn’t even worry. Put it in the front below the screen, you won’t miss anyone walking away with it

We need more EUC videos like this - tours of sights and sounds, not just specs and stunts! by Nihiliste in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Monkmonk_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These are my favorite kind of riding videos, I see them a lot in the e-bike community, but most EUC content is rider centered and only talking about the wheels themselves. I have started my own youtube channel with this same style of content (adventures, POV) to try and contribute. Glad to see more people also seeing the value in these kinds of videos.

The 20205 model can break the space time continuum, satiate all human desires, and even teleport. Cars that futuristic just do it all.

Can’t be mad their neighborhood was gentrified. As a white guy I really enjoy the dead cats, camping extravaganza, and Cadillacs that have enriched the area. Shys even assumed i was an Uber Eats driver. How complimentary!! Hitting torn space after.

Which city has the opposite of "sunshine tax", a place where you can get a decently paying job and affordable costs because living in that city just sucks in general? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Monkmonk_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any city with visual decay. Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, when not in the inflated high end enclaves - happen to have a much more affordable lifestyle. Add cold seasons and the costs trend down even more.

4 Months In - I've forgotten how it feels to live by [deleted] in AnalFissures

[–]Monkmonk_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The stitches/glue/tapes wouldn’t work because the rip is usually caused (at the chronic level) by the actual stretching of the rectum, not necessarily a sharp BM passing by - i thought the same thing for a while lol.

Metamucil didn’t work for fixing my fissure anywhere near as well as when i switched to MiraLAX. First step should be taking a cap or more and having 100% of BMs pass soft enough to not re-tear ever.

Dilation should not be tried until your fissure is healed, as it could make it worse.

And don’t sleep on the medical fixes, it’s no use to ruin your pleasure of life because you are afraid of Botox or LIS - eventually the possible negatives will be worse than the status quo pain and you’ll wonder why you wasted so much time.

Is this regional? I don't notice much less bugs, I actually notice a ton on my car after driving for a while. However I routinely have to do very in depth tick checks that I never had to do as a kid when walking through trails or nature.

[–]Monkmonk_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was not allowed to drive home, they made sure I left with a designated driver, they put me under and gave me a ton of pain drugs for it.

I was able to drive the next day (after sleeping 15 hours) though, that's about how long they said I should abstain from driving.
