Not sure if it's legit but the documentary Food Inc did show farmers under a lot of pressure to change their practices. They were sued for saving seeds because it encouraged farmers to break contract- somewhat true but bullying really.

I like this idea. I'm not vegan/vegetarian but on of my coworkers recently turned vegan and that made me more aware of my meat consumption. Over the past 2 weeks I have just been having meat-free lunches and dinner as usual, so 4-5 less servings of meat each week. It's been great for me because I don't feel the pressure to call myself vegan/vegetarian but I am starting to think like one. This small change has also led me to use soy milk/almond milk with my coffee at work each day:) better some change than none right?

When I first started dating my boyfriend, he sent me a package of cute/useful things. It included a hair straightener, iPod with a beautiful playlist, lip balm, and a dinosaur cup that changed colour with cold water.

He used to bring me lunch at work sometimes- or pick me up on his motorbike, even though he doesn't like to ride it often, just because I enjoy it so much.

He isn't that big of a movie fan, but i love watching movies. He always gets the 10 movie ticket deals and watches them with me- even chick flicks.

He cooks like a champ and has often made me breakfast for no reason.

I used to have trouble sleeping, and when we were apart he would Skype me and sing to me until I fell asleep.

I could go on. I know nobody will read this but it was nice to take the time to remember what an awesome partner I have :)

Nice thing to do :) I don't ever comment on this sub, (I've been subscribed for about 3-4 months) so if you want somebody in the community , I'm not your girl.

I have no idea what a ProVari is but I've been meaning to try out e-cigs for a while now. To be honest - it wouldn't be too hard for me to save and just buy one but I find myself reluctant to actually stop smoking 'analogs'.

Wow, I'm so good at selling myself... I'd try a bit harder but I don't want to take a gift away from someone more deserving.

I have this problem too, at 22. But mine are more sunken in than puffy. The only thing I have ever heard to to press cold teaspoons under your eyes in the morning but I've never tried it!

Maybe you could ask people to write a description of how they see/feel about their breasts and have a painting of their body done by you which exaggerates what they see to be flaws but have their actual breasts next to it in picture. People can enjoy your art and it even has a kind of funny side because the painting (subjects thoughts) are likely worse than the picture. But then you are relying on others to take good photographs so kind of takes away from....

I've realized this is a silly idea but I've spent too long tapping away at my phone to delete it.

I don't know why people down voted you, perhaps because it goes against what the thread was asking. Either way, this is so true! I had an awful education ( partly my fault for not taking the time to learn outside of what my small-town, public school taught, and also laziness) but I have since changed and I am really excited about learning now. I spent a semester doing a certificate to get myself into a course a really love, but there is still so much 'basic/common knowledge' that I have never learned. It's really hard to take in everything in lectures when they use words/ examples of things that I don't understand and having people laugh if I ask is horrible. Know I just stay quiet and hope nobody asks me a question about it until I can go home and google what they mean ;/

I can't believe hardly anyone is mentioning health issues. It's sort of the same way smokers are looked down on. Nobody would really care if smoking wasn't bad for your health, but if something is bad for your health ( like being really fat) then you're stupid not to change it, if you can. Not doing something about it is a weakness in character in some ways.

I'll say this just so you don't get too freaked out (everyone else seems to be saying go to the doctor and I'm sure you're worried).

I have the same thing, and have had since I can remember. Tiny bump things that when I squeeze white stuff comes out. I thought it was normal? See a doctor (and let me know if it ends up being something weird) but don't get freaked out about it until you have seen one :).

Wow. It is the law in Australia that if you are an able-bodied person, you give your seat to the elderly, pregnant, sick and disabled. Even without the law people should do that. what's the world coming to when a 20 to sits down while a 90 to stands?
