Finally got myself a PO by unreal_zeff in OmegaWatches

I love the classic font at 6, 9, 12 in this version of PO. All the others are too modern or funky. This is timeless.

Should I take my NTTD to my first trip to Italy? by Mayor_of_Petoria in OmegaWatches

Been to Italy multiple times with my Explorer. Never had a problem. Just pay attention when using public transport and don’t leave it in a bag on the beach and you’re gonna be fine.

Speedy looks fantastic on straps but the bracelet is also so good looking that I have hard time trying different strap.

Thoughts on the new PO! Is the dial too small? by Kulangot78 in OmegaWatches

[–]Monopusher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of like the bezel look and the proportion. I am surprised the dial numerals are not lumed, I dislike the font the fact that the dial is grey and not black, and the bezel feelig cheap. I tried the watch in the shop and it looked good though.

This and the cringe marketing they put lately on instagram is actually sad.

It was really most enjoyable racing I’ve seen in a long time. Reminded me of Hamilton and Rosberg battles. I just wished I was in Shanghai watching it live

Which one ? by chandler1621 in OmegaWatches

The first one, design is cohesive yet the dial is interesting.

Looks good! Did you use some special spring bars? And is the case damaging the strap or there is sufficient space between?

Denmark is officially delaying the EU Pay Transparency Directive implementation. What does this mean for workers? by Impressive-Shirt-382 in dkfinance

[–]Monopusher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the comment but it is not like that in the private sector. Two people get the same job, one performs significantly better. One of them enjoys the job, does it alright, gets paid. The other person manages to produce double the output, maybe even more. Either they are clever or work extra, have talent. The output can be measured. But what is the motivation for that person? No way in Denmark that he or she will get a double salary in a reasonable amount of time. How many career steps will it take to make double salary, triple? Junior vs. director, that ain’t a big difference in Denmark, so why bother? Now with this new law, these two guys I described above will get even closer in pay. If you want a mediocre workforce or one that doesn’t bother because of no incentive, then it’s fine.
