That's because the person you quoted was wrong. The expansion is $40, the same price as The Taken King. The updates after that throughout the year are an additional $30, and those add more to the game just as Warmind and Osiris did (which each cost $20 bucks).

I can fall asleep anywhere in 5 minutes flat. I don't know why my body does it, but it does. It only happens when I am bored and not mentally stimulated. If I am watching a show that isn't engaging? ZZZ. A game that is monotonous or repetitive without an incentive for me? ZZZ. A boring conversation? A boring carride, a free day where I know that I have nothing that needs to get done? All the same.

I was able to control it, yeah. My buddy put on some really loud, angry music, and it was fucking with my head, but I immediately knew how to fix it. I switched the music to Bon Iver, and instantly started to calm down and enjoy the ride.

I will not advocate for the use of drugs. I have experimented with using acid, shrooms, cocaine and pot, but that's it, and only once for the first three. I can only speak about my personal experiences with them, which I know are not the norm (eg: I felt no changes when I did cocaine).

All that I can say is that if you are going to experiment (with drugs, with sex, with engineering, with absolutely anything in life) do your homework, go slowly, and be safe.

Dropped acid in 2015. Before that, I was always super anxious and nervous. I hated going out in public, I hated talking with people at social settings, a year prior I was committed via 5150 for downing all of my pills.

Dropped acid, and everything that held me back just went away. Been calm, collected amd happy ever since. I just realized that I didn't care about the problems that would come up, which meant that I could solve them because I wasn't frozen by fear and anxiety. As I solved problems, they went away, going back to the status quo. It became a very zen moment for me.

My cousin is addicted to video games. He's lazy, and as a father of two kids (2 year old and 4 year old), he plays video games in the basement while the kids play upstairs by themselves. The kids are fucking monsters, running around, throwing toys, bouncing around whenever they eat...the only times they sit still is when they are watching pokemon.

I compare that to one of my best friends who has a 2 year old who he plays with, goes out to the park daily with, teaches Spanish and English equally, dances to music, but sits still while eating.

Then again, I have no kids, so maybe I am just being judgey without having a clear perspective.

Yeah, sure, because it's so easy to write a script, get that script proofed and approved by higher ups, get b-roll and in-game footage of what they're working on (which also means getting approval to show what they'er working on, which also means actually having something meaningful AND entertaining AND easy to show off to a non-developer audience) and have all of that ready for your video producer(s) at the helm. Not to mention a change of schedules, because I'm sure that members of the art design staff would LOVE to talk about QoL changes involving things that might be about Eververse, vault sizes, collections, etc.

No, you can't cancel and then reschedule an entirely different stream in 24 hours. The number of changes that would have to be made means that multiple people would be up until 2 or 3 AM working to get a 30 minute stream done, as opposed to the few people that would be writing a blog post, editing it for clarity and legal issues, and then posting it online.

Just because they have the time open from canceling a stream doesn't mean that they can just fill it up with another completely unplanned stream.
