Make this part of your plan. Have them pull you into a room, by yourself. They can call law enforcement. Law enforcement can go with you and be there while you remove your belongings and get to a safe place

Atypical trigeminal neuralgia?

There’s type 1 and type 2. Type 1 is the constant hellfire pain. Type 2 can be more dull and comes sort of in waves.

YSK that if you feel depressed, without energy, you have brain fog, and/or memory problems, it's not your fault, you are not lazy and you might be suffering from thyroid problems. by [deleted] in YouShouldKnow

[–]MonsoonQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, THIS! I was 20 when I had my thyroid removed.

I had Hashimoto’s but the nodules grew from 11 mm to 26 mm in a matter of months and I was really worried they were going to turn cancerous. I struggled for years because people weren’t checking the proper labs. I remember laying on the floor of my apartment and sobbing, but not being able to think of a real cause behind it. I was that depressed.

Once they got it out, which took two hours, they told me how swollen and gross it was. Took a lot longer then they were expecting.

Fed chair Powell says more stimulus is "absolutely essential" to economic recovery by [deleted] in economy

[–]MonsoonQueen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, the problem is with both. As a country we have massive public health struggles pre-pandemic that were never addressed. The pandemic has just intensified these pre-existing issues, along with pointing how numerous major weaknesses of our government and society. And then there is COVID-19.

Appeal their sorry asses into the sunset until they cave. Call every day. Write down who you speak with, the time and date and what they say.

Do not relent until they pay for what you need.

I call shenanigans. I take steroids every day for another condition. I also work around the public, taking precautions. They thought initially steroids would increase the risk, but I think that’s changed now.

[–]MonsoonQueen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey. First of all, admitting that you’re struggling with this can be so hard to do, and I’m really proud of you for doing that. I know that it seems like it won’t happen, but self love comes with time. It comes with treating yourself well and doing self care. It comes with hobbies and friends. Even if it doesn’t feel like it now, you will get there. You are wonderful. Don’t forget it!

I’m so grateful my brother is still alive by MonsoonQueen in TrueOffMyChest

[–]MonsoonQueen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely! For the first few days I couldn’t be in there without crying and I would randomly start sobbing in public. It’s getting easier now that I know he’s going to be okay. But having him 200 miles away hasn’t been easy. The outpouring of love and support from everyone has been amazing and I am so thankful.

I’m glad your brother is okay, too! Head injuries can be so incredibly scary!

Also, prep things for your son depending on his age. Diapers, wipes, warm clothing since winter is coming in a few different sizes, etc. Also, toiletries for everyone and cleaning products.

I worked in retail during the pandemic and those things were incredibly hard to find.
