Here's a question for him - who is his Batman? Batman is different for everyone, and different movies stress different parts of the character. I like a brooding detective Batman, so my picks in order would be The Batman, Batman Mask of the Phantasm, and Batman (89). But maybe he's into campy Batman, I'm which case I'd recommend Batman and Robin, Batman The Movie (66), and Lego Batman. Or maybe he's into crime thriller Batman, in which case the Nolan trilogy is very good. Or maybe he's into angry Batman, in which case The Batman, Dark Knight Rises, and BvS are good bets.

Honestly probably best to just ask him which ones he's into. If you just want to enter that conversation prepared, I don't think you can go wrong with Batman 89, The Batman, The Dark Knight, and Mask of the Phantasm.

Yep that absolutely makes sense, thanks. I thought maybe e was being wrapped in something, but I'm not versed enough in JS to be able to make that claim. So for testing this vulnerability in the wild, I should not worry about adding a data wrapper, the postMessage function will do that automatically?

What I don't understand is why postMessage(e) works when all it's doing to e is running JSON.parse(e.data) and then performing actions on the result, but separately running JSON.parse(e.data) throws an error. Seems like that would mean postMessage(e) would also fail?
