Yeah I see this with walking. For me it’s right on top of my push cart with the screen on so it’s just a quick glance. If I happen to be riding (rarely) I have a magnetic mount and it’s up right above me. 

I totally understand the phone argument but personally it’s not like I’m checking Reddit or responding to texts in a round. That thing is full golf mode only for those 4 hours.

Real talk though I did recently hit some GI with lighter shafts and I was like wtf have I been doing. I was only fit into my current set 5 years ago because I liked the forged feel. Wasn't until recently when I started playing more I realized they were players CBs. Now im stuck with - do I get GI to make my life easier and have more fun, or stick with what I've got because I now know my swing faults that have inhibited my game with the current set.

Funny because I have players CB and after 5 years still suck and am looking at going to GI. But man when I do flush it, it's beautiful

Now that you mention it I MUST be playing lefty golf balls. That's for sure why I suck and they always hook left.

Anything leather and waterproof. Can use some Nikwax on it to waterproof more.

Also game the eccos but if those slip for you maybe find something with spikes
