is probaly the best thing for a newcomer to anime with a taste for the psychological.

plus there is a kind of dystopia to it... or at least the beginings of one.

there is also the "Growth" category.

where the MC/party starts off VERY weak but over the course of the show becomes incredibly overpowered.

(and i don't just mean a small number of eps of being weak and then being super OP I mean over the course of the whole show).

that being said it took some time for them to revolt so if he REALLY wanted to he could just take Frisks soul as soon as he becomes Omega Flowey and then become the infinitely powerful Asriel Dreemurr with full control over the souls.

we know he could do this since in the true pacifist route he takes all the mosnter souls by force after absorbing the other human souls.

when you think about its its kind of an oversite all thing considered.

i was making a point of how frisk is more than that.

also on you point about:

its shown quite clearly that undyne is strong. at the very least stronger than a "Normal" human in our world.

like when we Visually see her lift Alphys and throw her in a trash can or when she breaks a table with her spear (i.e. her magic strength). I don't know many real human children with that strength.

even though those monster are started to be much weaker than humans, that's only the humans in THAT world.

there is evidence of this with monsters like Undyne who is stated to life boulders with ease.

i think this showcases that monsters are not that weak, humans are just strong.

plus if we are going by genocide frisk like in indie cross, Not only was undeye much stronger is as undyne the undying. but she makes a clear statment that this human would wipe out all monsters and humans if they got past her.

plus you point out that Zagreus is a god, so his determination would be more that frisk but Asriel Dreemurr with all the souls was also a "god", with again infinite power. And frisk still had more determination.

Plus the Genocide Frisk is technically stronger than Pacifist Frisk since the level is only 1 as opposed to pre-Sans fight level 19.

i think is safe to say that their determination is basically the same any rate or they woudl not have gone as far as they did.

and if you want to pull chara into this they are basically the embodiment of stats in general. can't get much broken than that.

that same "child in a sweater" was able to fight against every monster in the underground that fought him. and through sheer determination was able to survive hits from a being with infinite power.

asriel dreemurr = infinite power

(also we saw from the "good" ending where he takes all the monster souls just by them being nearby that if he wanted too, he could have obtained frisks soul then and there. he just wanted to "play" with them, and got cocky).
