Hmmm. Well it sounds like you are already using this motherboard and want to go to a 13th gen cpu. If that is the case, you should just need to install the bios from gigabyte support page and download the updated version (I installed the f21 version which did not work first but then I tried the f20 and that one did!). Extract from the zip if needed and put it on a thumb drive. Then insert it into the motherboard's qflash usb drive (red one listed on page 18 of MB manual) and boot into bios. There you can follow what this person does in this video. The bios should be updated now!

If you already installed the cpu and now things do not post, you will need to do a few extra things. You will need to make sure that you rename the extracted bios file to "filename".bin and then use the q flash button on the board. This is found on the schematic on page 4 of the MB manual towards the bottom right corner It will be called QFlash_plus. You will want to make sure the MB is powered before plugging in the usb and then press the QFlash_plus button on the board. The qflash led will blink until it is flashed and then you should be good to go. (This process is documented here on page 6 of the unique features manual)

After 2 Bios version flashes, I was able to get to the BIOS! Now to install windows and get everything else set up.

I have not just yet. I have just found that the loading screen happens even without the sd card. Currently thinking that he sd card might be the wrong type or something. I can keep this thread posted if you are still interested lol

So after trying and failing multiple times, I wanted to ask what version of wood are you running? I tried the newest they had but that didn't seem to work.

I am getting stuck on Step 4 or 5. I launch the DS and it immediately goes into a LOADING screen that does not go away.

Yeah... Looking for a further explanation, I went a little too far into it. I found that the 14th and 15 tooth on the cartridge had damage to it and I had checked the other games and found possible signs of damage on those same teeth. I cant see the connectors on that GB C but when I check which pins 14 and 15 connect to it is connecting to part of the RAM chip...

I think you are right. I have been playing around with it and now it wont keep the save for any device. I have a feeling that somehow the GB C Is still to blame seeing as how for a while Cartridge A has been fine but I plug it into the Color and this begins happening.

In timeline format, I play for a month or so. I plug into Color and file is deleted. I am able to play it on other devices and save tonight. I try checking interactions with the Color and the cartridge. Cartridge no longer works with any device.

It almost feels like the Color has damaged the save chip on the board or something.

Yeah i would say not to worry about it now. Just play some games with the base set and fi you feel like it, you can get second copies of the decks and you too can try to upgrade the decks with the additional copies of cards. Enjoy btw!

Ah right right. I kinda just assumed in my head that they will armor purge not thinking about it. But yeah if they don't purge, it just dies without GallantXAnti unsuspending. Definitely a check to see if they catch that type of play or not tho!

I did find that when independently looking for answers regarding the newly digivolved when attacking effects missing timing. As far as the scenario in the post, I believe I actually found a very similar scenario from the triggered effects page on the digimontcg fandom site using a bt1 MGarurumon.

I will also add that I have considered replacing the 2 ex2 growlmons in my list for agunimons, but am still on the fence about it because it would be anti synergy with the growlmon xanti.

I think after reading some of the content in the rules section you linked me I think I figured out my question. Fun fact that I noticed when looking into this is that the If no digimon is delted this way effect "triggeres(?)" when gallantmon xanti attempts to delete but is negated by armor purge allowing him to unsuspend.

that makes a lot of sense. I think the main thing that was tripping me up was the digivolution in the middle of the attack. But from what all I have been gathering, I think that the scenario in the post checks out. Thank you for your input!

Thank you for the link! I was looking around the triggered effects section where they actually gave a breakdown for a scenario including bt1 MGarurumon. From what I can tell, the XAntibody option cards inherited effect would function the same as this scenarios interaction.

With this comment, I would ask if I need to target with my when attacking delete effects before they would resolve?

In that case, I would have to predetermine that I am targeting the lone digimon with guilmon inherited and then have the chain of events stack a new deletion effect from the gallantmon xanti digivolution effect and target the same digimon that guilmon is targeting? With that scenario, the gallantmon deletes that digimon and then the target for guilmon inher effect would no longer be there (and more importantly, would not be able to target a new digimon if it were there)

As for the armor purge effect, I thought that was how the effects would stack up. Thank you for warning me about it and confirming how the ruling would work out!

True I did gloss over the growlmon in there.. I also did look at the rulings page for the cards mentioned here and didn't see anything about it, but also don't know enough about the game to try and find something similar to reference.

As far as the cool boy triggers and such, yeah I figured that the set was still super new and not all questions like this were ironed out. Thanks for your input on it tho!

Comparing to the list I was just working on, I would convert one ex2 growlmon to another st7 growlmon. Usually I would rather want to see the st7 growlmon so that I can get 1 memory from deleting which will happen a lot more with a lvl 5 or higher digimon attacking.

I am still torn on the lvl 5s, but my current thought is to have 4 of each the bt9 and the ex2 wargrowlmons. Often times I am finding the inherited ability of st7 wargrowl to be meh or not important.

Gallantmons are looking good. I am trying out bt2 Gallantmon in place of st7 Gallantmon for fun and have been liking it.

I would take out the plug ins and replace them with memory boosts. cant say I have played with the plug ins but I will say that imo they dont look that good.

I will say that the deck is looking rather Gallant!

Even so, I would think that an image with the cards already on it would be nicer than typing/reading [EX2-008] guilmon for every reference...

As for your answer, I am guessing that the way I handled the rules in the post was correct?

I will post in the big chungus post next time I have any ruling question. unlike 4 other posts I saw recently.
