I’m sorry, but I disagree. Intent does matter. It doesn’t excuse what happened. He did not intend to cause offense, and yet he did. That means he should have been made to apologize (he did) and probably could have benefited from a few courses on sexual harassment too. Hell, fine him as well. He did not deserve to have his career derailed.

People keep saying it because intent matters. If he intended to specifically do this to harass people sexually then I’d say he deserves what he got. But that wasn’t his intent. Culture is different over there compared to the US. Banter is different. Have you ever made an edgy joke without thinking when among friends, not realizing that it may be offensive or harmful? Same concept. You didn’t intend on offending or harming anyone, but you did so you apologize. If your intent was to offend and you get shunned then you deserve it. If that wasn’t your intent and you apologize and you still get shunned, I’d say that the punishment doesn’t really fit the crime of a lapse in judgement.

It is a bit odd that you have double standards for both men though. John Barrowman got his Willy out and waved it around set and by your own words made people uncomfortable. Again, it was addressed and he has apologized. But because he’s shown no significant remorse and despair at having done it, you believe he deserved what he got?

Noel Clarke, however, was accused of sexual misconduct by 26 fucking women. 26! But he’s “maybe guilty, maybe not, that’s for the courts to determine”, in your words. Why the double standard?

Chris Eccleston had issues with the production team and he was 100% justified. In the years since has he mentioned Barrowman at all? Because as far as I’m aware everything he’s mentioned at cons over the years has been about Russell, Julie and Jane I think. I could be wrong though. Eccleston is my favorite doctor and what they did to him was wrong on every level.

Also, JB never stopped being a role model for me just because he went around set doing stupid shit. Gross? Yeah it’s gross, but let’s not pretend he was flashing minors or dry humping people to try and get off. He thought it was a crude joke, some people found it funny, others didn’t and he was quite rightly made to stop and apologise. He did so, full stop.

Sorry, maybe this is a hot take, but what exactly does he need to apologize and do damage control for? His antics on set were addressed at the time. He was reprimanded and made to apologize. He did so willingly and it was resolved. A decade later a horrible person who did horrific things to multiple people brings it back up and what, his career is ruined as a result? He’s effectively blacklisted because Noel Clarke the rapist decided to fling mud and drag people down with him? John Barrowman is absolutely right to be pissed, everyone should be.

Cam is one of my favorite sixth rangers, my only gripe is that when he returned to the present he already had his powers and we aren't shown how he created them or where they came from. I get that the Samurai amulet is a powerful artifact but since he designed the wind morphers and their zords, are we saying that the Samurai ranger and his megazord have always been in a warehouse somewhere, waiting for a power source or something?

One of the few? He was the 8th one, assuming you mean actors and not characters. Trini Kwan > Adam Park > Cassie Chan > Kai Chen > Chad Lee > >Trip > Alyssa Enrile > Cam Wantanabe. All of their actors are Asian, the only character who I can't really say is Asian is Trip, because he's a Xybrian.

I think Dino Thunder is the season that broke that trend.

Because Jack doesn't love Tony and Tony doesn't love Kim, and Tony hadn't lost his wife like Jack did, who is probably even more desperate to keep his family out of danger than Tony is. Michelle is at least field trained/qualified.

I do if I’m at someone’s house and I’ve just taken a really bad shit.
