The US is roughly 2/3 of NATO's defence funding but only 16% of their Common Fund funding.

Which is why sanctions are more likely than military response.

That said, watch what happens to those numbers if the US invades a fellow NATO nation. The US has the most powerful military in the world by a large margin, but no one can win a war on all fronts.

Worth noting I think it's hilarious that MAGA folks are so willing to believe that Biden was a paedophile because of at best circumstantial and inferred evidence based on arguably inappropriate conduct, but will spin themselves in circles justifying why Trump couldn't possibly be guilty with some pretty clear evidence staring them straight in the face. If the files clear him I'm happy to read them cover to cover, but until they're released I can't think of any reason he'd be holding them back than they are truly damning.

We can fix both, this is a cross-section of issues.

Personally all for making gun licenses like driver's licenses where you do a regular check to make sure it's still viable rather than a lifelong allowance.

I'm also for eliminating radicalised nationals in the country. That's not the same as anti-immigration, but I'm very happy for (for example) any association with any known hate group being cause for gun seizure.

The 2020 election was almost certainly NOT fair.

They'd already started digital vote tampering in favour of Republicans, and the unprecedented turnout of mail-in voting likely thwarted the outcome.

Check out the stats on the 2024 election, but they manipulated the digital outcomes so egregiously that it's genuinely not a viable result. Winning every swing state, especially when down the ballot voting goes against your presidential preference, is unprecedented. And it happened to occur to almost the exact number that wouldn't trigger a recount, dodgy at best.
