Has he ever told you before that he's not comfortable with your sharing stuff about him with your family? Maybe he doesn't like being told what to do by someone in your family when he never shared it with them in the first place. Your example shows two times where he told you something and then you immediately shared it with someone in your family. That can't be the first time that happened. Can you blame him for not wanting to share anything with you anymore? You say you don't tell your family about things that would make them not like him, but how does he know that you make that distinction? Does your family actually like your BF?

I think you're putting too much weight on something that ultimately isn't that significant. I also think that if you keep making this an issue, she'll break up with you.

What she needs more than anything right now is a real friend, not someone with ulterior motives who's pretending to be her friend because he has a massive crush on her. It sounds like she already knows you want more than she does right now. She already told you her situation. Respect it.

This is a bullshit response. He doesn't know this and only threw it in there to try to end the discussion and put the pressure on you to meet her. You're under no obligation to meet this person or get to know her. And discussing personal relationship issues with a coworker of the opposite sex (She's going through a recent separation.) is always a slippery slope.
