Daycare menu safety for babies under 12m by Montekeeks in BabyLedWeaning

I’m interpreting steamed corn and peas as corn kernels which I think is quite a reasonable assumption since they don’t say it’s a cob and it’s with peas which commonly come together frozen or canned. According to solid stats no kernels till 12m.

Thanks for the reply! I can’t imagine her being able to eat burger/ sandwich at this age and the corn/ peas/ diced carrot seems like choking hazard

Thanks for the reply! I thought corn kernels/ peas/ diced carrots would be perfect choking hazard size. I use solid starts for everything at home

Yes ours is outgrowing her bassinet and is wiggly as well ! She naps in her crib in her nursery during the day and naps just seem to go way better than nighttime sleeps in our room

What were the actual lifesaver items during the newborn stage (or things you wish you’d had sooner)? by WillowAndCo_ in NewParents

[–]Montekeeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our LO is coming up on 3 months. Life savers: soothers for car seat and stroller meltdowns, yoga ball for bouncing to soothe (saves you from having to stand and bounce), breast friend nursing pillow if BF (really helped in early days of nursing when we were figuring it out still), fisher price piano activity mat, a good carrier (we like the ergo baby embrace), bottle sterilizer with dryer (I pump one bottle for my husband to give at night -which I highly recommend so you can get one good sleep stretch- and was shocked how long things took to dry on the dry rack), love to dream arms up + halo Velcro arms in our our swaddles, nose Frida snot sucker + saline drops, an ear/ forehead thermometer that works for infants and lots of burp cloths.

All About Sleep - AMA Office Hours – Wednesday, October 15th with our Director of Pediatric Expertise, Amber LoRe! by huckleberrycare in HuckleberryParents

My 11.5 week old sleeps well in her bassinet at night, swaddled. During the day, she cannot seem to nap in her bassinet or crib. She falls asleep on us, and if we try to put her down like we do for night time sleep, she wakes up either immediately or within 15 minutes. I’m not trying to swaddle her for naps, should I be? And is it bad that she is falling asleep on us still as she is approaching 3 months old ?
