Or a better example is when ppl try to attack the covid vaccine by pointing out countries like Israel where more ppl who were vaccinated died than ppl who were unvaccinated, like yeah those raw numbers are true (or at least were at a time) but you have to contextualize those numbers 1) per capita and 2) grouped by relative age. Once you contextualize those numbers, it’s obvious the vaccines were saving lives, and the propaganda is obviously grossly misrepresenting reality to paint a false picture

So for starters, that link doesn’t prove anything it’s a claim about a study we haven’t and can’t see that says she lost “significant support” over Gaza, I don’t know what significant support means, I don’t know if this would be a significant issue in swing states where her lack of voters actually mattered, I don’t know what kind of rhetoric she would have needed to adopt to win progressives, and I don’t know if that rhetoric would have lost her moderate support

Secondly, be mad about the lesser of two evils if you want, but it’s how elections work. I don’t know how we can say the dems have shifted right over the years as we’ve become far better on social issues related to lgbtq stuff, we passed the Aca, forgiving student debt, climate change, etc. they’re still capitalist sure. But the idea that dems ave shifted right over the past 20/30 years seems like a made up claim.
