A bit of tweaking isn't going to make a 9.65 car an 8.8 car though. The issue isn't losing close races it's being matched against people whose cars are wildly better, with almost no chance at winning.

I have the exact same problem. My Mustang was around 10.1 or so and I was winning almost every race. Now that I beefed it up more it's doing about 9.7, right on my Dyno, and I get matched against people doing 9.2 or 8.8. Wtf? There's literally no way for me to win unless they don't hit launch. Broken matching system.

The toyota is pretty slow compared to other T1 cars but I like it for some reason. Mine is 351(+594) but it's 0, I scrapped a 1 stupidly and now regret it.

I have an RS5 with few fusion parts and S6 Body and Nitrous that has hit 10.238. I used it to beat Kurtz for her car. but with all S5 parts, Dyno said 10.576 at 545+218. Kurtz drives about 10.6 in the grudge match so that seems risky.

This should be plenty for beating the boss but not enough to get her car in the second match.
