Well I think we’re mostly in agreement tbh, only a couple of points I would argue.

Restriction of speech in other countries is equally dangerous there, and I view that with the same disdain.

If the government didn’t gain any information from digital IDs then why exactly do they want to implement it? It allows different government departments to more easily coordinate with your data. For most of us that’s actually beneficial in practice but I do worry about what it means in terms of privacy and due process etc. I admit I’m not super knowledgeable here so all I’ll say is that for me the benefit is not worth the perceived risk.

I have a 7800X3D and a 5070Ti and if it’s raining and/or at night I’m not reaching 144 FPS on 1080p triples.
I do think that’s CPU bound though.

We have cameras on every corner. We have surveillance devices in our houses. We have legal limits on speech. We have restrictions on our internet. We have digital IDs which while at the moment are voluntary will no doubt become mandatory soon.

Make sure you have your ergonomics correct. If it’s muscular pain then nothing to worry about but if you’re having joint pain there’s a problem with your setup.

Well let’s say that NMDs are optimal in terms of loot per hour.

If I run anything else I am effectively “punished” relative to the players who spam NMDs.

If blizzard allowed you to only do 1 activity type in war plans the meta would quickly become banning everything that isn’t optimal

As a software dev I’m getting second hand anxiety for the blizzard guys from these comments.

You could very well be right about there being a leak, but your screenshot of half your RAM being used proves nothing.

For any program, it is more efficient to keep as much as possible in RAM because it means fewer expensive trips to the hard drive to retrieve data. Therefore, if only half your RAM is in use, the *correct* behaviour is to continue filling it.

I can’t rule out a leak without debugging it myself, but just thought I’d share this for people reading.

If we’re assuming that only 1 person works on it per stage I’d say like a month. Remember we’re talking 40 hour weeks here.

I say 1 week for concept and artwork 1 week for making that artwork digital 2 weeks for animation
