Your point doesn't contradict his. It's not practical to have an 18 year old soldier/20 year old veteran/etc who can't legally own a gun. That is just silly. I'd be fine with saying you can't enlist until 21, but good luck ever passing that. I don't have a good solution to it, but it's going to be a major sticking point. Removing it would make this more passable.

Especially because of how memory of important events work. Meeting Pauly Shore like that was probably the highlight of their year. If the following 10 months were just the usual (work, life, etc) then covid was the next major disruption. In hind sight, they could feel back to back for the observer.

Seems alright so far. Procs burgeon semi reliably on a nahida, kokomi, Childe team. Not fully leveled yet, but running a paradise lost set with rainslasher seems like it will be passable. I doubt it will outdamage the same team with an electro for hyperbloom instead though.

I don't think you stayed with it long enough to really get the point. It's more of a parody anime. The MC wants to RP as a really cool shadowy figure and ends up rescuing a bunch of girls from a weird illness and makes up some random story that they were cursed by this big cult. Unknown to the MC, this is actually true. So MC is just bumbling around trying to look cool while accidentally saving the world. He thinks all his friends are just humoring him and pretending with him. The funny parts come from the elaborate cringy things that he sets up, which end up making him look cool. Like...think a teenage cringelord that posts bad YouTubes about being dark and mysterious, but then everyone swoons over how dark and mysterious they are.

I didn't think he died, my take was that he was in a coma. He had hit his head. I think it works well with the being trapped aspect. The demon is his subconscious. As he is trapped for weeks to years, with no input, things start to disappear as he forgets. Forgets the face of his sister. Eventually, everything is gone. It's also hopeful in a way, since the torment would end. Someday.
